Happy New Year!  I hope you enjoyed some time off and got to spend it with your family and friends.  My family went to Captiva, FL for the week and I had the pleasure of photography this beautiful family.  Enjoy and may 2012 bring health, wealth and laughter!!

Looking back on 2011 year, I have so much to be thankful for!! My husband and I moved back home (after two years in Orlando) and it’s been great to be surrounded by family and friends again. I also was welcomed into the HWA family, and I feel so blessed to be work with amazing people everyday. One of my favorites things about HWA is getting to meet and photograph new people daily. Yesterday, I photographed this beautiful family!

Thank you for this year and I can’t wait for what 2012 will bring!

What’s up blog lovin’ friends? So I recently was up in Toronto, Ontario on vacation visiting my best friend, and fellow photographer, Vanessa Paxton.

I had the honor of taking a beautiful family portrait and making a coffee table book of their favorite images. When I delivered the book to the mother, she was in awe. As she was looking at the pictures, she turned to me with tears in her eyes and said “this is priceless.”

Often times, I think we forget how important pictures are. Through pictures, we are able to hold onto moments. These memories are precious and priceless.

Remember – take more pictures and cherish those memories.

The weather has been so beautiful and this fall weather will shortly be coming to an end.  It’s a great time to think about capturing some family memories and holiday cards.  Check out this beautiful family and come in to get yours!!
