Helen Wells
Owner
Founder Helen Wells knew when she started her agency in her Indianapolis hometown
in 1980 that she wanted to provide the most professional, dependable service to
clients and talent in the industry -- and by all accounts she has exceeded those
goals. Clients know they can count on getting the right people to get the job
done and experience friendly, dependable and efficient service from start to
finish. Models and actors have signed with Helen Wells, knowing they will be
treated with fairness and respect and have access to opportunities only an
established, respected agency such as Helen Wells can provide.
Nancy Bastian
Accounting
In addition to managing the accounts for Helen Wells Agency, she is involved with
Dream Alive Inc., a local charity helping students from under funded schools
find monies for tutoring, sports, and mentoring. She runs a horse camp for young
children at her home in Carmel.
Nancy and her husband Bill have 2 grown children and a beautiful grand-daughter.
She and Bill enjoy traveling and spending time with their family.
Lori Fetter
Talent Booking
Lori is a long time member of the Helen Wells Agency team and loves excitement
and variety of working at HWA!
She and her husband Dick have two sons: Christopher, her oldest, plays for a farm
team for the San Diego Padres and Phil her youngest who is a senior at Ball
State majoring in Telecommunications. Her spare time is spent reading, watching
baseball and chasing after her two rambunctious labs, Gus and Tucker.
Nicole Emery
New Talent Coordinator
Nicole Emery works with new talent organizing pictures, calling for auditions and
booking jobs. She enjoys constantly meeting new talent and helping new models
and actors find their footing in the entertainment world.
Nicole has volunteered as a child activities assistant at Coburn Place in
Indianapolis, and has assisted on committees for the local chapter of the Cystic
Fibrosis Foundation. A fan of live music and food, Nicole enjoys spending free
time travelling in pursuit of both.
David Auble
Web Developer
David is the web developer in charge of the website, manages the blog and
calendar events, as well as gives us a strong presence in the social media and SEO rankings.
He has been developing websites for eight years and has helped create large and small scale web applications, Rich Internet
Applications and small Flash widgets and games. In his spare time, he can be found working with his car,
playing Xbox or catching up on the latest movies.
Rick Lang
Video Producer
Rick Lang is the agency's chief videographer and producer. After attending film school
at Full Sail, Rick spent his next four years in the realm of television production.
Awarded a Spectrum Award by the Indiana Broadcasters Association (IBA) in 2009, Rick was
recognized for broadcast excellence in the commercial category.
Rick is a self-proclaimed "geek" when it comes to new technology, and thinks this internet thing is going to be huge!
Matt Detjen
VP Sales
Matt is in charge of new business development for Helen Wells Agency. With an
extensive background in consultative sales, he enjoys the one-on-one interaction
involved in identifying solutions and strategies with our clients.
Getting his official start with Helen Wells Agency as a talent in 2003, Matt now
gets a chance to share knowledge gleaned from time spent in front of the camera.
Why does Matt look familiar? He has played the role of "Guy #2" more times than
he can count!
